Danish Refugee Council signs with SCALES A/S to deliver a new global ERP solution

Danish Refugee Council (Dansk Flygtningehjælp) has entered into a contract with SCALES A/S on the delivery of a new global ERP system based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (formerly ”Dynamics AX and CRM”).

The agreement was signed on April 28th by the General Secretary of the Danish Refugee Council, Andreas Kamm, and SCALES CEO, Hasse Bergman. The project kicked off in early May and is aiming at an ongoing implementation and roll-out over the coming 18 Months to Danish Refugee Council’s app. 7000 employees and 8.000 volunteers.

The solution will ensure that going forward, Danish Refugee Council will have one single integrated system to handle the global management of the organization’s entire value chain, incl. Supply Chain management, Human Capital Management, Finance, Project Management and BI.

On a yearly basis, The Danish Refugee Council administers more than DKK 2 billion in donations. The donations need to be distributed in a way that has the largest possible effect for the world’s most vulnerable people in the app. 35 countries in which Danish Refugee Council operates. “By implementing a uniform, standardised and business optimising ERP platform we will be able to help even more refugees with the right assistance at the right time. We believe that this optimisation will allow for a better and smoother daily operation across the organisation and will help us improve on our humanitarian work – beneficial for all.” Andreas Kamm says.
